Damaged beacon or sign:

Any damaged or missing navigation aid (beacon, buoy, marker or sign) should be reported as soon as possible to the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350 or after hours on 07 5539 7373. Your assistance in this regard means we can keep the waterways safe and accessible for everyone.

Vessel polluting the waterways:

Oil pollution from boats should be reported as soon as possible to the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350 or after hours on 07 5539 7373. We provide a first-strike response capability for vessel-sourced marine pollution.

All other vessel-sourced pollution (for example, sewerage and garbage) should be reported to Maritime Safety Queensland.

Your assistance in this regard means we can keep the waterways safe and healthy for everyone.

Abandoned vessels:

Abandoned vessels should be reported to GCWA for investigation. You can email us at mail@gcwa.qld.gov.au or call us on 07 5539 7350.
